Hello members, and welcome to our April newsletter. 2026 is an important year for our club as it the 16th of August marks our 100th anniversary (Branch 02 and NZART were formed on the same day).
To mark this important milestone, we have planned a series of activities over the next five months as we lead up to our 100th celebration in August. You will see a theme with preparations for a foxhunt on the 16th of August! Some of you who have been members for a while will remember the popular foxhunts run by the club and arranged by Wallace ZL1WAL (SK).
The clubrooms are open every Saturday morning from around 1030, with members using the facilities to socialise, work on projects or just “play radio”. The clubrooms are well equipped with HF, VHF and UHF radios and the jug is always hot.
